I need a shorter heel in black for work to change into if my feet are killing me in higher heels. I had picked out this one but need other ideas.

My fave and comfiest pair of heels for work are Prada slingbacks like these:

They look great with pants, skirts, dresses and I can even wear them with tights in the winter.

How about these? http://iphone.zappos.com/cole-haan-air-talia-wedge-40-black-patent
I saw Condoleezza Rice speak last year and she had these same type of shoes on. They looked great and I tried to google exactly what kind I thought they were. I can't find them now on zappos but I think they may have been Prada or Ferragamo. They were fairly low but still looked very nice.

I find Stewart Weitzman's to be really comfortable, and like that they're made in Spain.

These are kind of boring but might work as a spare pair. I'm not crazy about the shape, but read somewhere that toes are getting less pointy.

I've never worn these but they were suggested to me by zappos. Might work well with pants. Limited sizes here. http://www.zappos.com/gravati-4466-749-black
