Twice in the past 2 weeks DS has told me he wants chicken for dinner. Today he asked why we don't have dinosaur chicken nuggets in the house. DS just started RELUCTANTLY eating chicken about 4 months ago. He normally does not like it with any sauce or breading but will dip it in mustard (and now suddenly ketsup).

I just had to share. Looks like DS has officially added chicken to his list of foods he will eat!!!!

(of course, now I have to pretend to like/eat chicken...........so I will do my best).

Awesome!! It's such a big deal when they start to like more things. Makes life a whole lot easier. One thing at a time. :) Congrats!

That's great!

DD2 (19mo) pretty much refuses all meat. Every once in a blue moon she'll eat chicken...which she calls bawk bawk. Yesterday we had bbq porkloin. DH put some on her plate and she pointed to it saying bawk bawk. We said yes bawk bawk. She proceeded to eat her weight in it and we just kept giving her more and more bawk bawk. Maybe when she's 12 we'll tell her the truth.

OP: Congrats on the expansion of DS's food horizons!
