Bed skirt lengths?

Time to set up DD's big girl bed! I did my homework before buying a bedskirt and measured the box spring to the floor (plus frame). Came out to 16". All the skirts I see are 15" (majority) or 18'" I saw one that was 17'. What's the best way to handle this?

I would get a 15". If it is on the floor, it will get stepped on. Also, it may hang lower than that depending on how it is constructed. It will also be easier to vacuum.
