We're having company for dinner tonight (company that we see for dinner at least once or twice a week, so it's not a fancy thing), and I have the day off so I thought I might actually cook something. Usually DH does the cooking in our house. Anyway, I'm thinking of making this http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/09/sofrito-chicken-stew-5-ww-pts.html
but I don't like dark meat, so I want to substitute breasts for thighs. Any thoughts on how I need to change the cooking time? Keep in mind that cooking is not my forte.

I love her recipes! I'd definitely use breasts, but start checking for done-ness around 10-15 minutes (and every 5 thereafter). You could also do the first couple steps (sauteing and browning) and then throw it in the crock pot for 4 hours or so.

First of all, that looks super yummy! I wish I was coming to dinner for that!

I think you can cook it pretty much the exact same way just not quite as long. WHen something is on the bone, like a thigh, it takes longer to cook. I agree with Weech that it should be done in about 20 minutes.

I'll let you know how it is, and if it's good and you're good....
