Dress question

I have 2 fall weddings and needed a dress to wear. I found one last night that I like a lot. It's a V-neck faux wrap look and has a empire waist and a black band all the way around the waist, just under the bust. It's supposed to have tie/belt at the waist, too. The little loops are there, but no tie. I think it looks fine without it, but would it look better with it? Should I try to buy a tie to use?

If you like it without the belt, I would just cut off the loops. I have done that many times before, because I don't look good with belts. You can always belt it without the loops later if you want to.

With the black band, sounds like it would look great wo/a belt.

ETA: I would cut the loops.
