We had the Safety 1st Bath Seat for my two boys but it looks like it was yanked for safety reasons. So, I'm in the market for a new bath seat for my about to be 4 month old little girl. Right now I just hold her and bathe her but she really wants to grab floating items and play a little--it's just too much squirming for me to hold onto her when she's all soapy. :)

Any suggestions?

I really like the Primo Euro bath, which is recommended here frequently. My 12 month old has plenty of room to splash and play with his toys. I lay him down on the newborn side to wash and rinse his hair to help keep the soap out of his eyes, and then he sits up for the rest of the time. My only complaint about it is that it is really big to store.

We loooove the inflatable ducky tub from Munchkin. I got it at Target. It is big enough that DS can still sit in it, although it's tight (this is his choice - he does not want to give up baths in the duck). And I love that it is blow up. No hard surfaces so if he tips or whatever, he's fine. And since I can deflate it, it store in pretty much no space plus we have packed it in the suitcase and taken it everywhere. No bathing him in a nasty hotel tub or worrying if someone's bathroom is clean.

i have tried many tubs and this is my absolute favorite. It works almost like a beanbag chair. baby can be immersed in water, but not float away and you don't need to constantly have a hand on baby, the recline is also adjustable and dries nicely. I used in the regular bath tub.

I used this until they could sit up on their own:

Second on the Primo Euro Bath. We just got one last weekend for DS. He is (a very large) 10 weeks old and he seems quite content in it as long as we have a hand towel behind him on the newborn side to keep him from sliding down. It is a vast improvement over bathing him in the bathroom sink!
