I got some quirky "new" outfits at a garage sale last week. I enjoy the clothes so I want to make them work. Problem: I think they were boxed up for a while, awaiting their G-Sale moment.
I washed them, of course. However, there is a lingering musty smell in the shirt I'm wearing today. Not mildewy or gross, just musty. Like maybe they were stored with some candles or paper or something.
Would another was with a cup of vinegar do the trick? Or should I try washing on hot? (I always wash on cold.)
