And so it begins. DS will be starting "preschool" at our church next week (2 days a week, 4 hours a day). Today is meet and greet with the teacher, and I'm at work. I work 35 min away, so it's not really worth is to miss work to take him, but I'm still sad to not be there. We had parent orientation on Sunday, and I had a hard time with all the talk of room moms, and special programs and party days and the like. Just trying to come to terms with the fact that I won't be there with him for all of that stuff. DH works from home, so we are fortunate that DS has been with him or MIL all this time, and I love the bond that DH and DS have from all that time together, but it is still very hard for me, as the mom, not to be there with him. I'm sure all WOH moms go through this, but I just thought I had more time before it would hit me...
