This is related to my other thread about the tenant trying to tighten up the value under the kitchen sink and the pipe broke thus caused water damages to the wood floor. Would a typical home insurance coverage cover the damages to the floor? Our first estimate was to replace the whole thing for $11K.

So stressful....I'd appreciate any insruance experts' opinins out there.........Thank you.

Just read....thank you. Is premium for a rental dwelling typically higher than a homeowners coverage?

Normally yes it is is a bit more (not anything crazy but more). Tenants typicially don't take as good care of the structure as Homeowners do.
