DS1 is very agile, but when he jumped off the school sliding board to avoid a pile up yesterday, something caught his foot. So down he went, hands and head first.

Thank goodness I was already in the parking lot when the school called. They thought he was all right. I was pretty certain he had a mild concussion and a broken wrist.

And, yup, he does.

Oh no!!!! Poor guy, and poor Mama! I hope he is on the mend soon!

oh no! I hope it's a simple break and heals quickly. I was amazed at how FAST my son's broken leg healed.

Oh no! My DH broke his wrist as a child and my MIL just broke her wrist. The healing is a process but in both cases full, perfect recovery which I think is the norm.

Hope he is feeling better soon!

Oh I'm so sorry! I hope he is better fast. I know how hard it is when our littles are hurt!

ahhh poor guy! Hope the wrist heals up quick for him. If you haven't got the cast already make sure to ask for a gortex lining!

Oh holy crap! I'm cringing just thinking about it. Such a smart mama to listen to your instincts and get him checked out. Poor kiddo and poor mama!!!
