Infants' Acetaminophen (Tylenol) Concentration Change:
All infant's and children's liquid acetaminophen products, brand name "Tylenol" as well as generics, soon will be sold in a single, uniform concentration to help reduce dosing errors. The industry-wide move will phase out the old concentrated infant drops which contain 80mg/0.8mL of medicine. The new infant drops will be the same concentration as the children's acetaminophen (160mg/5 mL). During this transition, please read the product labels, paying special attention to the concentration in the product and use only the dispensing device that accompanies the product.
