I got DS a Thermos container that keeps food hot for 7 hours and cold for 9. I was going to get a funtainer but it kept food hot for only 5 hours. DS will not eat food cold that is supposed to be hot. Anyway, he took wedding soup the other day. I did what was suggested here and put boiling water in the thermos for 15 minutes. I then put in the heated up soup. DS said it was hot 6 hours later. When we got home at 4 pm and I cleaned his thermos the soup was still warm (more than luke warm and less than hot). I have to say, I am REALLY impressed and happy with this purchase. It was worth the $21 I paid for it.
