update: They couldn't do the test yesterday, because they were too worried that a medication she's been on would cause significant bleeding, so they've pulled her off the medication and rescheduled for Tuesday. She's still in the hospital, and they're trying to do any other testing that they need to do over the weekend, so that they are only waiting on the one result until Tuesday.
I really appreciate everyone's thoughts. Unfortunately, the test is really going to tell us whether something is bad or really bad, and with her other health issues, nothing with her is easily resolved. They already expect that she'll be in the hospital for at least three weeks to a month. On the positive side, I was able to take a few hours of personal time yesterday afternoon and go see her (hospital is about 1 hour from where we now live, but will be about 15 minutes away when we move on 9/23), and she was pretty comfortable and, as usual, in a positive and fiesty mindset. I guess that's all I can hope for, right now. Thanks again for keeping her in your thoughts. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.

She's in the hospital being tested for something pretty significant. She has a lot of other unrelated health issues and this is the last thing she needs, not that anyone ever needs to be ill. She's only 61 and just keeps getting hit by thing after thing after thing, despite the fact that she lives a very healthy lifestyle. I am appreciative that she's at an excellent hospital where all of her other specialists are, so at least I know she's getting great care.
I would really appreciate any PT you could share for her.
