Around here, middle school starts in 7th grade. DS1 starts tomorrow and I'm feeling way too sentimental about it. When he went to kindergarten, I wasn't the least bit teary. I couldn't wait for him to go. He was 3 weeks away from being 6 years old and was in the same building I taught in. But this...this is huge to me. He's so grown up. He turns 13 in a few weeks. He's 5'10" and wears a size 11 shoe. What happened to my baby?
