I love my blowfish flats. They were cheap from Marshalls. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=blowfish+flats&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1366&bih=576&tbm=isch&tbnid=ULrv6UP4zj0zlM:&imgrefurl=http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/blowfish-segment-flat&docid=cROvcBawq0VilM&w=212&h=300&ei=KYFlTs_ULJDogQe6kayTCg&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=383&page=1&tbnh=167&tbnw=111&start=0&ndsp=13&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0&tx=74&ty=82

I love Born Stowaway and a few pairs I have from Clarks. I got some great suggestions when I had a similar post in the spring.

:yeahthat:

I like Me Too also. They are comfy and stylish and don't break the bank.

I also like some of my Nine West flats too.

I second Toms. Love them too!

The only flats my feet tolerate are Attilio Giust Leombruni but they are crazy expensive, got mine for 80 on ebay after trying out a bunch of different sizes in Nordstrom... Me too are supposedly comfy too, but they (as any other ones, even super comfy Blochs) dig into the slight bunions of mine... Mine feet are skinny, flat and have bunions- very hard to fit anything else than boots and booties!

I have never heard of Me Too flats, but I just checked them out and love them! For most ballet flats, I size up a half-size because they always seem to be tighter in the toe area. How do the Me Too flats fit?

I love my me too flats. So comfy.

:yeahthat: I got a pair on clearance from DSW last spring and they are super comfy.

I recently got 2 pair of Me Too flats on clearance-- one at NR and one at DSW, for $17 each. They fit my wider feet in my reg size. I'm also eyeing a pair from Kimchi Blue I saw at Urban Outfitters. I want some in some in mustard to go with blue skirts

Here are the Kimchi Blue ones. They seem to run a bit wide and have no padding, but I love the colors. I have several blueberryr blue items and I think a mustard shoe would look nice w/them.

Ijsut got two pairs of Sam & Libby's at DSW two weeks ago. I have a terrible time finding flats that fit right--flat foot, narrow heel, wide at the toes.

http://www.dsw.com/shoe/sam+.and.+libby+zees+lace+ballet+flat?prodId=dsw12 prod3310029&category=cat20068

The other pair is a more springy pattern--super cute and pretty comfy.

I normally wear an 8 but buy an 8.5 in flats.

Anyone want to comment on good options for a lot of walking? My daily routine includes walking ds to the bus stop and then walking the dog--about 3 miles total. Plus walking back to the bus stop in the afternoon and then chasing the kids around the neighborhood. I find myself wearing my keen sandals A LOT because they are comfortable enough to get through all of this. But I'd love ideas for more fashionable/less athletic options.

Thanks!
Catherine

I second Attilio Guisti Leombruni flats, so totally worth the investment. I have had mine for over a year now, and basically live in them. I am angling for another pair in different color, but they are almost never on sale.

Could have written this exact same post. I have skinny, flat feet with bunions and AGs are the best!

BTW, Famous Footwear has Me Too flats - Nyle style in the store I went to, but I saw others online. It seems to be very comfortable, but they didn't have my size in the store. They are on sale 40-65% off if anyone wants to check them out.

The Me Too Flats seem to have more padding than the average ballet flat (which has none). I have yet to actually wear mine though, so I can't report.

I haven't bought anything new in a while but usually find stewart weitzman, and pliners very comfortable.

Gap City Flats. The folding ones. I read about them on the Pioneer Woman's blog and they are very comfy. I did have to go up a size, and I only buy them on sale because my first ones sprung a hole after about 4 months. I got them to try for $9.00 on clearance, and the most I've spent on others is $25.

I have several pair of Lifestrides that I got from DSW this year and last year. They've held up beautifully and are very very comfy. I have two that are flat, but not ballet flat style and one with a bit more of a wedge but would still consider it a flat (like this: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/lifestride+dempsey+loafer?prodId=225520&brand=300201&isBrand=y&categoryName=Women's%20Shoes)

Tory Burch:

They are by far the most comfortable flats I have ever worn. Since becoming a SAHM I have tried all sorts of flat shoes and I find cheap flats are uncomfortable, unsupportive, and hurt my feet after awhile. I have a couple pairs of Tory Burch's that look good several seasons later after having been worn daily!

ETA: And no I didn't pay that much for them! I bought them during the Anniversary Sale.

Yes, I actually pretty much never wear them with socks and when I do it's a thin trowser sock.

Until it got hot, I practically lived in these m-janes by munro (except with shorts, that's a def. no go). They are nice and streamlined/narrow like a ballet flat, but have a mj strap (my ankles are usually too narrow for most slip on shoes)

http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/munro-journey-mary-jane/3048295?origin=category&resultback=2624

It's too bad that most of the munro styles are kind of old ladyish, b/c the munro shoes fit my feet perfectly.

I really like my Garnet Hill flats:

http://www.garnethill.com/garnet-hill-signature-ballet-flats/womens-fashion/footwear/casual-shoes/121720

http://www.garnethill.com/artful-ballet-flats/womens-fashion/footwear/casual-shoes/195468

http://www.garnethill.com/garnet-hill-signature-ballet-flats/sale-clearance/womens-fashion/footwear/121720

They're not super supportive, but they are comfortable, very soft material. You don't want to get them wet either. I have a pair of giraffe print from several seasons ago and a pair of suede pink embellished ones from the spring (no longer on the site). They're always coming out with fun colors and prints!

Just thought I'd update with flats that I recently bought:

Rocket Dog ballet shoes in black, with a slight wedge heel
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?rlz=1T4GGLL_enUS406US407&q=rocket+dog+thai+silk&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=16758612749375314344&sa=X&ei=wLB4TtvvM4yBsgKWtPzHDQ&ved=0CF0Q8wIwAA#

And can't find a pic, but found a great pair of Anne Klein Flex gray suede flats.

I have a problem with flats because my heel is narrower than the rest of my foot. I usually buy Anne Klein flats even though my heels slip terribly, but I'm looking for a new brand because there is a hole in the toe of my shoe after only 3 months of wear. A friend told me to buy Tory Burch flats because they are good for people with narrow heels. The pair she recommended is $195. I don't usually pay even $100 less than that for my shoes, so I'm on the lookout for a good deal.

For anyone that needs flats with more arch support and cushioning like I do, I just found a super comfortable pair from the Clarks artisan line. I would post a link but I cannot find them other website yet. I got them at a Clarks store.

I love flats by Cole Haan and French Sole.

:yeahthat: French Sole is also the same as London Sole, depending on where you buy them.
