Are they that wonderful? I keep reading that they are the highest quality puzzles made.

That being said I have also read a few reviews that puzzle pieces are missing at times which I find so strange.

Thoughts?

They're ok. I don't get all the fuss. I think the images are kind of ehh, but the quality of the pieces is very good.

Interesting...all I keep seeing is 'the images are so vibrant' and so on. Any that you prefer over Ravensburger?

They're some of our favorites.

What I like is that the quality of the pieces is better, so they fit together nicely. You can move sections because they are fully interlocking and you don't fit two together and think...do those really fit or not?

:yeahthat: we have never had a piece missing from a box when we bought them....afterwards unfortunately yes!

We have several Ravensburger puzzles and they are very good quality. I do prefer the images on our Mudpuppy and Crocodile Creek puzzles though.

We have been very happy with our Ravensburger puzzles. Nice, thick pieces which are very sturdy.

Haven't had a Ravensburger puzzle yet -- but I'm very impressed with the quality of the Ravensburger game we've got (Snail's Pace Race)

We love their family puzzles. The 3 differently sized pieces are easy to sort out and the girls love working on the same puzzle as the adults.

Are we talking floor puzzles? Because I have 4 M&D floor puzzles that are still in excellent shape since DS1 was little, but the one Ravensburger floor puzzle that we have doesn't lay completely flat (edges lift up) and the pieces aren't as thick as the M&D ones. So I prefer the M&D ones.
