Which boots would you choose?

I'm trying to decide between two colours of these Patagonia boots - the Peat Brown or the Artisan Gold. They're both on sale and I'm torn between the sensible or the funky...wwyd?

Thanks for your input - I did it, I went with the gold! I think they'll look cool with dark skinny jeans and hopefully not too 'elf-ish'!!

I agree with the others--cool in gold. I usually prefer brown in shoes, too.
