1 6.5 yr old who thinks everything is funny and thinks not listening how he is supposed to act. 1 wet paper towel thrown around my house. 1 6.5 yr old running like a maniac with said paper towel dripping. 6 minutes on the "reflection" step = 1 hour of HELL ending with DS asking why DH and I are so mean to him when he "does bad things on purpose" (those were his words). By mean he means attempting to discipline him by making him sit on the step.

GAH!! I hear ya! I hope it gets better once he is in the school routine.
BTW, I would respond to that with "Why do you do wrong things on purpose? You know there's going to be a consequence." (Notice my little euphemism,LOL)
