Which desk lamp do you like better?

We just set up a loft bed in DD1's room. Twin bed over desk configuration. I bought two desk lamps to choose from for her underbed desk. The first is a practical, black swingarm lamp that has the better height. The second one I really like b/c it is an update of a classic, banker's lamp, but the height is shorter than desired. Both lamp heads tilt, so the banker's lamp does tilt up or down.

Which do you prefer?

I like the style of the banker lamp myself.

Um, I don't like either for a young kids room. If for a teen, I prefer the black one. The bankers style isn't for a bedroom IMO.

Hmm, neither seem like they go in a kid's room to me.

I'm not crazy about either one, but think the swing arm would be more practical than the banker's lamp. Those banker's lamps actually don't put out very much light and look too mature for a child's room.

Not a huge fan of either but I can tell you DS1 would LOVE LOVE LOVE the swing arm...it reminds him of the Pixar lamp and he's ALWAYS wanted one...granted he might want it in white but black is his favorite color.
