Argh - my tiny house is overflowing. I have some stuff that we are done with, that I should sell, but I can't find the time. Our nice Melissa and Doug kitchen, a rocking chair, rody ponies, that sort of thing. They must go, but I have guilt not trying to sell them and get something for them. But that keeps not happening...

So what do you do when your need to clear out competes with the need to sell things?

(we aren't desperate for the money, but could use it, if that makes sense)

Donate.
Your time and stress are worth a little sometime too, you know.
And relief of not being burdened by stuff is worth something by itself.

I've been doing lots of this the past few weeks since the kids started school.
I just donate. I'm glad to see the items go to a new home and I don't have the time or desire to go through the process of selling them. I figure I'll make someone's day next time they shop at Goodwill.

I just can't bring myself to enter CL or other means of selling- sounds like too much work! So, I donate. I give most all kid toys to the church my ILs go to. I like knowing where it's going, that it's needed and played with. :)

I've sold several things to friends on facebook. That seems to work well for me

Go right now and take a couple pictures of the kitchen and get it listed on Craig's List, it will only take about 15 minutes. Once you sell it and you have the cash in hand you will find you're motivated to get the other things listed ;)

Donate, curbside, or trash is what I say.
