DS has already gotten in trouble on the bus. This morning, while I waited for the bus to pull off, I noticed the driver was leaning over DS's seat. I called the school to find out what happened (b/c I honestly assumed DS had instigated something or followed what another child was doing--DS enjoys "acting silly"). Turns out the boy behind DS and the two other K kids sitting with him, was standing up and taking their backpacks. DS and one other kid with him thought it was funny, so they started doing it to each other and the child behind them. The bus driver had to intervene. The head of the lower school (all involved were lower school kids--4 kids total) is going to have a conversation with the kids today. I called initially so that I could make sure whatever the issue, that it was followed up on by the school and that I was made aware of it so that we could reinforce things at home. Glad I did. Did I mention it's only week 3 of school (it's going to be a LONG school year).
