I worked with a friend on her business idea - this went on for a few years, ranging from a few hours a week to as many as 25 hours at the peak. I never got paid in $ but have been paid in kind over the years (with nice gifts, items from the business, etc..). It was a great experience for me, personally, so I didn't mind helping her out. The skills are relevant to my career, though it has nothing really to do with my line of work, so would I put that under work experience or Volunteer/Pro Bono work?
