DD wants to be a Care Bear (R). I can only seem to find baby Care Bear costumes. She wears a 5/6 or 110. She is over 42 inches, so we can't squeeze into a 3.

Has anyone seen any Care Bear costumes bigger than a 3 or 4? I'm not talented enough to make one and I can't seem to talk her into anything else. I even tried etsy, but the one option was expensive and didn't really look like a care bear to DD. So wonderful BBB mommies and daddies, HELP! :).

here is a cute idea if you wanted to attempt to make something.

I was unable to find anything larger than a 4t basically.

You could make it, I promise. :) All you'd need is an iron, scissors, and maybe a hot glue gun and/or hand needle and thread.

Buy sweatpants/hoodie, Heat and Bond, http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?CATID=cat2864&PRODID=prd49052 and a few small pieces of fabric to make the design on the belly and ears. (print off a pattern, cut out individual pieces and iron together). Another option is fabric paint or markers,

If you can't find a hoodie w/out a zipper, you could do a regular sweatshirt and put ears on a headband with a few stitches, or you could hot glue them. If you want to be really fancy, pull matching socks over her shoes.

Okay.....if I don't find anything this week, I will attempt it. My perfectionist tendencies usually get in my way. Thanks, guys for responding! :). If anyone sees one, please let me know. :)

It really is easy, but if you decide you don't want to try, let me know and maybe we can work something out. :)
