AND the Babyhome Xstreet Emotion is coming to the US!

http://site.pishposhbaby.com/blog/2011/09/22/babyhome-xtreet-emotion-stroller-coming-soon/

Isn't there someone here who has one?

Yes! It is always exciting to hear about the new stuff coming out. The thing I don't like it how looong it takes before the protypes become something that hit the market!

I think someone on Swap has the Xstreet Emotion (I think someone brought it over from Europe and sold it on Swap) and really likes it.

Do my eyes deceive me, or is that an adjustable handlebar and air tires on a BJCM?
I think 2012 may be a great year for strollers! Several things have piqued my interest already!

OMG! If they put air tires on a BJCM, it would become almost perfect. If only they made the seatback upright so DD liked it more.

Arivecchi, you clearly need a new baby :)

Air tires on the bjcm along with shaving some inches off the width would perfect it!

I am only slightly embarrassed to admit that I've been awaiting the show for weeks now and woke up this morning excited that there would be some news to day. I actually said to baby DD: "Today is the big ABC show, so Mommy will get to see the new colors and decide what to buy for you. Aren't you excited to have a new double stroller?". Yeah, DH was still half asleep but I'm sure was rolling his eyes. At least my postpartum hormones are being directed in a positive direction, right?

I'm mostly waiting for the BJ news. I've been waiting to buy a Summit XC hoping they are coming out with better colors/features, but I'm eyeing a couple of 2011s in case they don't. And I recently found out that a BJCM will fit "hidden" in the cargo well of my new car, so I am super tempted to buy one as a single car stroller that lives under there taking up no trunk space. (Haven't sold DH on this idea yet.) The new one above is even more tempting, curious to see what "bamboo" looks like.

I did however, take the Vista out yesterday with DD in the bassinet and DS on the piggy back board. I soooo love that stroller for newborns.

That's what I get for having a double that I'm too impatient to fit into my car.)Not really. He only rides during long day outings. He much prefers the wagon to go to the local park. We use the terrain mostly at six flags and Al for museums and shopping and we do not do any of that frequently. We use the switchback in the country as a bike trailer. :(. I could easily get by with just one stroller now.

Yep, but not surprised. In general I hate Baby Jogger colors (except the City Select ones). I don't like the grey/color combos.

Yeah, exactly. For the features, I would consider getting one, but with those color choices now I'm thinking I should just pick up a 2011 BJCM at a discount. I don't like the black and grey combos, I'd rather have warm colors like sand or chocolate or tangerine. They already have some great fabrics, why do they limit their use?

I have the same issue with the Summit XC colors and I'm losing hope for any 2012 improvements to that line.

I've seen one message board with the rumor that the double is being discontinued and replaced by something else. But I have no idea who that poster was or how credible that info is. BJ did not confirm it in calls, AFAIK. I figure if they were going to launch a replacement they would announce it at ABC right? That's their opportunity to get sales.

Either way I'd like to know. There's a double on ebay from BabySurplus that I'd jump on, or an AlbeeBaby deal. But I want to know for sure if they will have a new model, features or colors.

It is kind of strange that BJ had every other stroller in their lineup at the Expo (Mini, Mini GTs, Elite, Select)-- except the Summit. (And the Elite & GT colors are ugly! btw.) I take that back, I didn't see the FIT either. Does Baby Jogger no longer want to make actual joggers or what? lol http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150324819079586.360567.121555624585

I don't blame them, but it's kind of funny. I thought the Summit was a good seller though.
I definitely see myself getting the Versa when it comes out. I plan on pre-ordering it from Peppy Parents. Then I will probably get a Mini GT later...hopefully they will have better colors in 2013!

I was super excited to see the new strollers because I think 2012 will be our last year of buying new strollers... but now just feel disappointed. The colors are just so....boring...especially if you have girls. I mean the Bumbleride Indie turquoise is pretty and could work for either, but I was so hoping they would do purple, or dark emerald green. The Vista Drew/tangerine is almost too bright, but I already have the Maya anyway, so it is pretty similar.

ITA about Baby Jogger, why can't they use their Select colors (namely the purple) on their other strollers?

Multimama

I definitely see myself getting the Versa when it comes out.!

This is high on my list too. I love how it folds. That makes it a very appealing reversible for travel/public transport, especially if they come out with a travel bag for it and it has an automatic lock. (I heard they added an automatic lock to the Mini. It's nice to see them listening to customer feedback.)

I really like the Drew Vista. :) I agree about Bumbleride though. I asked them to do purple last year, but maybe they feel it's just too done. Practically every retailer came out with a purple stroller at the last ABC.

Maybe the City Select purple is more expensive than the other fabrics they use? I hate their grey/color combos (I'll say it again), but am pretty satisfied with the colors for the new Versa if they keep what they have at the show.

I am so happy the ABC show is happening now. It is great motivation for me in my efforts to get my stroller and carseat collections under control!

Some nice updates to the vista too http://stroller411.com/blog/416/uppababy-vista-stroller-2012/ front suspension, 5th flatter recline position, height adjustable canopy and the black now comes with a black frame.

Hi,

Here's all the Baby Jogger news in a nutshell for inquiring minds! :)

All 2012 models now include auto-lock on the fold.

City Versa... everyone's already been discussing, in four colors.

City Mini GT... everyone's already been discussing. Four colors on single, two colors on double. Shares same accessories with standard City Mini.

City Elite... new fabrics on single seat, and double is discontinued for 2012. Fabrics are softer and solid color in red, black, or sand (a rich tan). Frame goes charcoal color. I think it's sharp.

City Mini... orange is discontinued, Blue/Gray is added. 2012 has 1 inch deeper seat.

City Select... Diamond is discontinued, Quartz (deep taupe) is added.

Summit XC... red and sand remain the colors. Single remains and double is discontinued. It was at the show, but unchanged so probably nobody is posting about it.

FIT remains unchanged.

POD... coming out this fall in two colors.

Hope that helps!

Great Baby Jogger video. i am really loving the Versa. That is a tiny fold for a reversible stroller and it has lots of other great features we've been waiting for from Baby Jogger too. So glad it has an automatic lock. :)

Those BJCM colors are hideous - very 80s as a PP said. What were they thinking?

Meh on the Versa. I would much rather have a Bee if I am going to go that route as the Bee is proven in that category.

The Indigo with the polka dots is beyond cute.

Thanks Peppy Parents for the confirmation on the Summit!

I just won the ebay auction for an open box Summit double from Babysurplus (AlbeeBaby).:yay: A better deal than I'd get even with Albee, and these are almost gone online. I've been studying double joggers for 2 months now and this is the one that best meets our needs, so with no news on exciting releases I finally pulled the trigger.

So glad to have that decision out of the way! Now I'm excited to try out a SBS double with both kids. (And if I hate it I figure I can resell for this price.)

I am just in love with the Versa fold. Plus I like the fact that it can take a bassinet, which the Cruz can't. And I also like the colors better on the Versa.

But I would want to try them both out in person of course. :) It's not totally clear to me how the Versa handle adjusts and I like the telescoping handle on the Cruz.

Hi - this was overshadowed by Promenade, Duet, and Dot excitement. Not on Swift, but Mountain Buggy is intending to have a Runway Collection limited edition Urban Jungle coming out later this year. Very limited quantities on it - they were even sold out to dealers before the show started last weekend. Runway Edition has navy exterior and solid fashion interiors in a higher-end fabric. There's a matching carrycot option.
