I am looking for a separate bag that I can carry multiple pairs of shoes in- something like this bag would be perfect, but I can't stomach the price. When I google shoe bag, I get a million links to individual shoe bags, and frankly, those just eat up my luggage space. Am I the only one who travels with multiple pairs of shoes on a long trip?

That is just neat. I wonder if you could do a DIY model? Get a similar-sized rigid bag and put cardboard dividers in. I'm thinking of kind that comes in a case of wine - structured to stand up on its own even when it's not filled with anything.

This isn't nearly as stylish, but along the same concept: http://www.hammacher.com/publish/72539.asp

I've thought about that too! I wish I was handy with a sewing machine, because it doesn't seem that difficult to make. I could try the wine bottle divider idea, although I'm thinking I'd only be able to get one shoe per compartment, and that's a pain.

That would be perfect! It's discontinued, though :(
