I don't know how I feel about it. I have been using a BJCM for the last 2 years. I've been very happy with it. I don't know why, but on a whim, I purchased a quad from shnoop (killer deal). We took it for a short 20 minute walk and I'm not totally sure I'd trade in my bj for it.

What I like:
Slightly smoother push/ride thanks to the air tires.
Adjustable foot rest, Z seemed VERY comfortable, she also loved the bumper bar to put her feet on.
The basket is twice as big as the BJCM basket

What I don't care for:
The adjustable handle bar seems loose, it bounced a bit while I walked. Maybe I'm just not used to it?
The height of the seat is small, and it has a weird lip at the top. DD1 can not fit in it comfortably but can in the baby jogger.
The front wheels made a lot of noise, like they were barely touching the street, but wobbling.

can still fit in under the canopy if she slouches:

Weird lip that the top of the seat on the quad. I just saw the pictures, and there are snaps to unsnap it. That makes me like it a lot better LOL!

Thanks for the post and pics! I was just hypothesizing on another thread that the Quad might be a good competitor to the BJCM GT (with forever air tires) when it comes out.

1) I got the Quad on Shnoop as well. I did not feel that my handlebar was loose so it could be your specific stroller or perhaps not being used to the adjustable handlebar.

2) Yes, unsnap the snaps! I assume the lip is in there so if a small child is fully reclined their head has something to rest on besides the canopy? I just unsnapped it so my 3.5 year old could fit properly. Left it unsnapped for my infant as he can use the headhugger (honestly I will probably always keep it unsnapped)

3) My front wheels were also a little loud and rattle-y. Push was still good, maybe they need some silicone spray or something?

You can unsnap that part of the seat. That is there so infants do not slide back.

Adjustable handlebars have some give. That is normal.

No advice on the wheels. Try silicone spray as PP suggested or call Valco.

They are very different strollers. Valcos are so well built. They are tanks. BJCMs have a nice fold, but are not in the same league IMO.

I think the head lip has to do with Australian regulations. On my latitude, I folded it back and snapped in the folded back position so it wouldn't flop around and annoy me.

I received my Quad from Shnoop on Friday, and wanted to add my thoughts after using it for a few days.

Pros:
very sturdy (and adjustable handlebar seems sturdier than those on other strollers I've owned)
excellent maneuverability (granted, I've only ever owned larger AT strollers and this is the smallest stroller I've ever pushed, but still, the turning radius and ability to push with one hand are great)
excellent push- even through grass, and even with a rider on the HH
lots of storage
great canopy
easy to lift in and out of car; fairly lightweight (I have back problems, so this was very important to me)

Cons:
The canopy is pretty loud when you adjust it.
I'm still trying to figure out the rain-flap thing that attaches in the back. Is it just supposed to hang there or something?

Thanks for mentioning the fact that the lip at the top of the seat can be unsnapped! I hadn't realized that, and was kind of irked that it made the seat-back seem so much shorter. Unlike pp, I haven't had any issues with the wheels or handlebars. My 18 mo old looks comfy riding, and my 3yo LOVES the HH.

Overall, I REALLY like this stroller. I think it will be our go-to everyday stroller. We're going to have to sell our P&T to fund it, but I think the Quad is much better quality and better fits our needs at this point. I love the concept of the P&T, it's fun to push, and my boys love riding in it. But we've been having too many quality issues with it, and once our warranty expires I don't want to have to start paying for them. Ah well. At any rate, I'm really enjoying the Quad! Thanks to all the ladies who have recommended it and/or reviewed it- your opinions swayed my decision to purchase. So glad I did, it really is a great stroller!

I took it for another walk this morning and the front wheels weren't as noisy, so maybe they just needed to roll around for a bit. There is about an inch of "give" in the handle bar. Is that normal or should I contact valco?

The canopy IS loud! If you have a sleeping little one, go slow or you may wake him/her!

The push is fantastic and Z seems SO comfortable in the seat because it sits up so high and straight. She always slumped in the BJCM seat. And I absolutely LOVE the adjustable footrest for her. She has short legs and the BJCM hits her in a weird spot mid-calf so her legs stick out funny in it.

I haven't tried the HH, because it's connected to my BJCM frame, but I may do that soon w/ the 5 YO on the back.
