TB Outbreak in a nearby community

I've been roughly following this story, and it seems to be a mess.

It would be very hard for me to handle the not knowing part if my child tested positive, but had no symptoms. Ugh, I hope that this gets under control quickly and doesn't spread further!

Many peopel are carriers - meaning they will test positivie, but aren't actually sick, or get other people sick. My dad was a carrier. His mother died of TB when we was very young child.

I haven't read up on TB, but I thought this was case since there were so many positive results. It seems that the reactions here are very polarized ranging from it being a public health crisis to it not being a big deal at all. Overall it seems to have caused chaos, and I hope that it doesn't spread (the TB or the chaos)!
