Just wanted to thank you ladies for suggesting I bring the BJCE on our trip to San Diego. I did buy the baby jogger travel bag and that was a bit of a pain at the airport to take the wheels off and get it zipped up. But DH and I (and my son!) were so happy to have it in San Diego! DS fell asleep in it numerous times and the zoo and safari park had hills and off-roading and we were glad to have the big air tires. We would have been cursing ourselves had we brought an umbrella type stroller with us. DS fell asleep almost daily in the stroller, and we were glad to be pushing the BJCE - i could hang my bag on the handle and when it rained at legoland, ds was under the canopy and hardly got wet. i would not want to travel with a big stroller like this in general, but for this trip, I wouldn't have done it any other way. thank you!!!
