how do you make the "YEAH THAT" icon

It comes from the "smilies" at the right-hand side of your post window while you're writing a new post.

If you can't see the smilies, are images disabled in your browser?

I can see images.
At the bottom of my msg box where you type, I have a "post Icons" section that incudes 14 options (7x2) of smileys, thumbs down/up, lightbulb,? etc. But these tie to the post in teh header section next to the subject.

No other options for smileys in the message.

Are you using "quick reply"? You have to hit the "reply" button rather than use quick reply.

You can manually type :yeahthat : remove space between "t" and :

After you hit the"Post reply" button which is on the buttom left of the last message of the thread, you should get a window that looks like below:

: yeahthat : (remove spaces between the colons and the word)

you can make the smilie by following the following code as well..

type : no spaces, write yeahthat then : again..

I don't know the codes for all the smilies, but that is how you do that one.

Yep I'm using POST REPLY, not quick reply and all i get is the POST ICONS options on the bottom, no smilies on the side. How sad.

If you don't see the smilies when creating or replying to a message, your Message Editor is probably set to Basic. Here's how to change that:
User CP > Edit Options > near the bottom of the page, look for Message Editor Interface. Set this to either Standard or Enhanced (What You See Is What You Get).
