So I'm stuck with my BW LaserJet, and I like it and HP quality. But I need a little color printer to print cards or photos, doesn't have to be photo quality, just decent.

Which should I get?

I've had good luck with Canons. Stay away from Brother.

I have an Epson artisan 810 printer and I love it.

I don't see the 810 available but the 835 is $199 at the Epson store. Reviews are also glowing for this model. www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&sku=C11CA73201

What do you consider inexpensive?

When we bought our printer, Staples had a promo to bring in your old printer and they give you $50 for it. Considering I got one for free, but it was huge & didn't work, I was paid $50 for them to take it off my hands.

You shoot, you score! Wow, nice. I consider under $150ish affordable. I'd love to get something for under $100.

Also consider the cost of the ink. We have an HP right now and the ink is $$$$$. It may pay off to pay $50 more now and save on the ink later.
