Baby and DH sick on my birthday!

Ugh. Poor DS has been sick since Wednesday with a fever, cough and runny nose. Up all night, poor thing. He's still feeling bad today (ped said yesterday it was just a bad cold). So today, my birthday, I was supposed to go out shopping by myself for the afternoon. Even had a massage scheduled. But guess who woke up sick this morning? Of course, DH, who was totally apologetic but also clearly ill. He asked me to take his temp, and he has a fever of 101.1! Now I'm spending the day nursing 2 poor, sick babies. I'd better not get sick too!

Ahh bummer. I'm sorry both of your guys are sick on your birthday. That sucks! Hope they keep their germs to themselves and that you can get a do-over shopping trip and massage maybe next weekend.

I feel for you!

My DD was up all night with a tummy bug on my own birthday this year, so I spent the day in bed with her ... then I caught the bug 2 days later ... and DH caught it 2 days after that.

It sucked.
