My lungs are killing me.
I feel weak as a kitten - just walking down the driveway makes me tremble.
and
My fever cycles high once a day and but is mostly under 101.

I absolutely, positively don't have time to be ill. Tell me it's not walking pneumonia.

I was thinking walking pneumonia but I've had a sinus infection for the past week and a half that ended uo settling in my chest and I feel the same way. I hope you're better soon.

I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly. Unfortunately when you don't have time to be ill, it's usually because you don't have time to take care of yourself. If you can let some of the less important stuff go and at least get a decent amount of sleep you might have a fighting chance against it.

Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, I had a huge virus about two weeks ago that lasted for about a week - amazing amounts of ick coming out of my nose - and then on Thursday I started to feel like someone was sitting on my chest.

I just wish it would go away!

This is good advice. I've tried to let DH take over this weekend, but it still hurts. Maybe it will go away tomorrow.

Oh no! IDK on the diagnosis part. Are you coughing at all? Is it productive? I would go in tomorrow just to rule out walking pneumonia or some sort of bacterial infection. Hope you feel better soon!

Just wanted to add they Mucinex, that's the only thing that has helped me.

sounds like some kind of infection ... pneumonia or respiratory infection (sinus or bronchitis)... probably worth a trip to the doctor.

Hot showers are your friend ... neti pot ... chicken noodle soup and hot tea with lemon and honey.

Hope you feel better soon.

I've had pneumonia 3x as an adult, and that is exactly how I felt :( The last time I waited too long, because I felt like as a mom I would just "get over it"--and I wound up in the hospital, and was sick for month.
Please go to the doctor!

Aaahhhh no! no! no!

Can I throw a class A tantrum? If I had enough breath, that is.

I'm giving it one more day and then to the doctor I go.

Better, thanks. My lungs still really hurt, but I can move around without getting a splitting headache.

OK, well if it doesn't get better or gets worse, you get yourself to the doctor, kay?
