DD hates hats. She will not wear a summer hat at all and rips them off immediately, even the ones that tie one. So it is starting to get cool now and I am trying to find a hat that she will keep on or will at least be very difficult to get off. My thought is that something like this: http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?from=SC%7c3%7c2%7c156%7c47%7c11%7c%7c&simg=37836_U87 would be harder to get off than a regular hat. However, I really cannot bring myself to spend $30 on a hat (and mittens which she would NEVER consent to wearing). Does anyone have a hat they would recommend? Anyone seen a hat like the HA one linked above for much cheaper? TIA!

My kids are kind of a pain about hats too, but when it is freezing, they wear them! We get lots of coats and sweaters with hoodies - which they love.
