Help with ds shirts 6 year old

Ds1 has suddenly become more peer aware and picky about shirts for school. He won't wear a lot of the cute Boden shirts. He doesn't want plain but also doesn't want "silly" ones. Help!! Any suggestions? Obviously need to take him to pick. We need long sleeve shirts.

We have Old Navy stripes, Lands' End "nature" (snakes, bugs, whales, sharks etc!), Gymboree non-cutesy ones (DS has to approve)

Old Navy, TCP and Target...yep, the cheapies are the source of many of these.

I pulled up a bunch of store's pages on my computer and we scrolled through them togther. He picked a couple solids, a baseball style, and the geometric stripes from Old Navy. I was surprised at his choices, but he's happy with them.
