Have you seen some anywhere? I'm trying to get some shoes to do double duty for Halloween and the Holidays. :)

What size?

Oops, sorry. Big girls. Probably a size 1. More complicating is Dd's foot shape but if people could point me in the right directions it would be helpful. I found something on striderite.com, though not patent, that I liked but none of our local stores have them yet.

I got some for DD#1 & DD#2 at the stride rite outlet last weekend.

Thank you! Melissa, are your Dd's out of the toddler sizes? Unfortunately a lot of time the cuteness ends at 12 in that store. :) Also did they have 'heel's or where they flat? I totally miss the toddler tech MJ styles.

I got DD these at the Stride Rite outlet last month. (Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures.) DD is a 1 wide. These are flats. I was so excited to find something that still looked young.

Did you find they ran small or TTS? I found 1.5W for Dd at both outlets near us, but neither have 1W, only 1M. I really don't think a M will fit her, but her current shoes are just 13.5W and I'm thinking 1.5 will be HUGE. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the drive or not tomorrow. I know they both said they will get more in soon, but I hate to wait until the last minute...

Thanks.

I got my DD these in a 12.5 (not considered a toddler shoe in that size). The jumping jacks site also has some other nice black patent leather mj's.

I bought DD the Kaydence MJs last weekend too (at the Albertville, MN SR outlet). They are very cute. They seemed a little stiff--or maybe it was the way DD was walking in them--but she insisted they were comfortable and she likes them. I got her a 1.5M. They seem slightly big but hopefully this way we can get a full year's use out of them. For reference, salespeople have been measuring her for a 1, but the Geox tennies we got for the year are a 2 (the ones were slightly small). So I'd say the MJs are probably fairly true to size...perhaps slightly long, as is typical for a dress shoe. I don't remember if the store we were at had any in wide. I was just happy to find something cute and not trashy looking in a size that worked!

Those are the same ones I got at the outlet. I got a 13.5 and 2 I believe. They're cute.

I wish the outlets would ship. I know they used to, but I have heard they refuse now. I think we will go tomorrow so I at least get an idea of what should fit, but won't have high hopes.

Thanks ladies.

They seemed to run TTS. We did not have to size up from her measured size.

The shoes measure almost exactly 8" in length inside the shoe in the 1W. Our LE mary janes in a 1W are slightly longer inside - 1/8" maybe - but it seems our LE shoes are usually a little larger. The Stride Rite are definitely slimmer than the LE too.

I also just noticed that these are not real leather. They are all manmade materials. I'm not thrilled about that and I'm glad I paid only outlet prices for them.

I bought these for DD#1 (not patent leather) in a size 33 (1.5) (IME, the "big girl" Umis run a half-size too large) - they were $18 on 6pm a few days ago:

http://www.6pm.com/umi-kids-teaberry-toddler-youth-black

She's dressing as a witch for Halloween, and has a couple of other outfits that "needed" black shoes. This makes 4 pairs in her current size, though, which is a record for us (brown mary janes, pink Merrell mary janes, silver running shoes and now black mary janes). (Luckily, except for the running shoes which were $28, everything else was $20 or less!)

For little feet (up to size 9), I love these Umis. DD#2 has two pairs (brown mary janes and silver T-straps) in the same "footbed", and they've been some of my favorites to date: durable, flexible, a little extra width in the toe box, and so very cute. Makes me very sad that my not quite 2.5 year old is wearing the biggest size!

Dd is a witch for Halloween, too! Those Umis are cute. I can generally count on them fitting Dd, but I have such poor luck with ordering shoes online I try to avoid it.

However, I ended up with the SR Kaydence shoes in a 1.5W and OMG they are the right size. I don't know what happened between buying her 13.5W in early August and now, but I'm a little afraid to see how her 3 pairs of school shoes are fitting. Just in case I picked up another pair of one of them in a 1.5W while we were there. Eeks! I always joked their feet only grew when I bought shoes but this is ridiculous!

Anyway, thanks for the help everyone!
