I am currently wearing Motherhood jeans from Ebay but I need to expand as cooler weather is on it's way and I have to put the skirt away.

I prefer the full over the belly panel as I cam carrying low and I think it makes shirts look better.

But everything I try is too tight in the butt and thighs!!!!!! I was a 16 pre-preg. I have gained a little more than I should. The XL's in most brands fit but they don't look good.

I like that Motherhood has short/petite lengths. I have neither time nor money for hemming. But Motherhood is annoying b/c they have several styles of jeans and none of their associates seems to know the different names for styles and every store carries different styles.

Any recc's for brands for short, heavy legged mama's????????????

I liked a couple of pairs i had from the gap but they were a bit long. Maybe they have them in short? They both had the panel FWIW...

I just lookec on the gaps website and there do offer them in long, regular and ankle. I also noticed that they were buy one get one half off (although they still seemed a little bit pricey to me- i got mine off the clearance rack for $25-30.)

I really liked Gap maternity jeans, and I fit your description. They usually have at least some full-panel styles. I also had a pair from Kohls that were comfortable.

Old Navy might also be an option. They don't have a lot of full-panel styles but the ones they do have go up to size 18 and are available in short sizes. Target also has a few possibilities.
