Barnes & Noble clearance...$2 sale (ymmv)

I stopped by a b&n store earlier today & saw that the clearance items have been marked down to $2. I also noticed that some new items were added... e.g., I Spy dinosaur puzzle, board games, magic school bus science experiment set, and other items. I also bought a wooden pull-along toy for my infant. I just thought I would start a new thread, in case this hasn't already been brought up. HTH!

I purchased "The Magic School Bus: A Journey into the Human Body" boxed kit (ISBN: 9781400660117), originally $19.95. sorry I can't find the B&N link at the moment b/c of the morning school rush, but I hope that the info I provided helps.

saw plenty of magnetic holders but didnt think of using on side of fridge--they were labelled locker mirrors n the like. Would have been helpful for DD.

:bagWent today again and got many many things :bighand: It's all put away but I got the I Spy Dinosaur Puzzle, another I spy puzzle with tinker toys on it, tubs filled with 100 fine tip markers, design your own mugs and bowls, Fast 4 Word Game, Ruk Shuk Jr., Tiki Topple Game, Quarcetti Baby Toy, Magic School Bus Human Body, Magic Labyrinth Game. Everything was $2! Very pleased! There were some really cool electronic banks but they were ringing up full price and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a manager to check. I think I'm going to try another location tomorrow :bag

Yes, they had red stickers and were in clearance bins at my store. Did anyone find items (posted by others) that did not have red stickers in their stores but rang up at $2? I had them look for the Magic School Bus Science kit but they didn't have it in stock.

I got some CDs too - one was bedtime songs and another was baby hymns - I thought it might pass for bedtime but I might just return it.

I bought refills for photo albums thinking DS could make some albums and print them. I might return them though.

yay, I'm glad that some of you have been finding fun items at $2!! I was hoping to see some of the vera bradley totes (poppy fields style), but I think they went out of stock when the clearance items were marked down by 75% off at the particular store I went to.
