We have have only been to CBR (as well as AKL, PO-FQ, and the Dolphin(non disney-but still on property). But, we enjoyed our experience at CBR.

CBR is a big resort, however, we stayed in Jamaica 45 so we were central to everything. Jamaica 45 (as well as Aruba 51) is right across the bridge from Old Port Royale. Jamaica 45 is closer than some of the preferred rooms (so you pay the standard room price). We had a corner room...two windows with lots of light shining in. There is a quiet pool in the Jamaica complex however, we always walked across the bridge to the main resort pool and to the food court.

There are two pools in the main resort pool area. There is a smaller pooler surrounded by a gated fence. This smaller Pirate ship pool area is zero depth and great for little kids. It has small slides as well as cannons that spray water and a barrel that fills with water and then tips over.

The bigger pool is more for the older kids and adults with two slides. There are also two hot tubs. There are lots of swim vests for the little kids. The locker and changing rooms and bathrooms were clean!!! I was very impressed.

Outside of the main pool area, there is an outdoor bar which was always open and you can get alcoholic drinks.

The main building, Old Port Royale, which houses the sitdown restauarant, , the food court, the gift shop, the little video arcade game room and the concierge desk is right next to the main pool area.

We never ate at the sit down restaurant. The reviews tend to be not so positive and we had other restuarants we wanted to try. The food court was adequate. It had pizza, pasta, chicken, grilled food, fried food, etc. We only ate there for breakfast and it met our needs.

We used the bus system and never had a problem with the busses. They do stop at each section...so maybe 7 stops (we also had this many stops when staying at PO-FQ...we shared a bus with PO-Riverside). However, Jamaica was the first stop on going to the parks and the first stop off leaving the parks.

People comment on how you can see Epcot's Illuminations Fireworks from the resort...our experience was that you can barely see them over the trees. Maybe we were there in June with fuller foliage on the trees and that is why the view wasn't as good. IMO, see them at Epcot if you want to see them.

Yes, we would stay there again...however, we are trying all the resorts so it might take a while before we cycle back.
