So this morning I went to Baby Gap (attached to our regular Gap store) to make a return. I was wearing this sweater...

and these jeans...

...along with black boots.
The sales associate asked me if I was about to clock in.

LOL! That's funny. I am always embarrassed to go into a store wearing something that is obviously from there, esp if it's currently on the floor. But I usually don't let that stop me. ;)

:yeahthat: That would have been a great comeback!
I did the same thing. Yesterday I went to Target to return some things from the Missoni sale and then realized I was wearing a Target Missoni shirt. :bag Oops, that was embarrassing. And I've shopped at Anthro wearing Anthro clothes...I'm sure they know instantly!

A friend of mine once wore a red polo shirt and khaki pants into Target. People kept asking her questions about where to find things in the store.
I actually have had customers in Gap and Banana Republic ask me whether I worked there on more than one occasion. Maybe I should just fill out an application. I did work in an Express store in college, so I do have retail experience...things can't have changed much in 20 years.
