Especially if you are plus sized. Thanks!

I'm medium-sized. I tried a couple because my daughter kicked a rib out when I was about 8 months along. The L&D nurses suggested that might help with the pain. I got a couple from BRU and gave them a good try. Neither seemed to help much and they felt uncomfortable. I returned them.

Possibly BRU doesn't have the best ones, though. Or they didn't fit me right.

I'd recomment one of the waist cinchers by Spanx or Flexees instead of the velcro belly binders. You might have to get two separate sizes as your body changes post-partum but it will be higher quality than the BRU one.

I'd skip the "postpartum" ones and get one of the waist cinchers by Squeem. I have one and it is hardcore (made of cotton and latex). I wear it because it corrects my posture and makes my lower back stop hurting. I have the regular waist cincer, but there is a vest version too that gets even better reviews since it eliminates any back fat.

I wore a couple of Flexees garments -- a waist cincher and just a high-waisted control brief -- after my C-section with DS. The consistent pressure made my incision feel better and I didn't notice waist bands digging as much. They look ridiculously small on the hanger but really do stretch! I kept wearning them on-and-off for several months, and I think they helped my hips to eventually return to pre-pg size.
