Starting a running club for elem school Moms any tips?

So I'm organizing a running club at my kids elementary school. Last year at the end of the year another Mom & I tried to do it but it only ended up with the 2 of us and an occaisional other runner. Now it seems like I've got a decent crew interested. They are people of all levels..some just starting out. Before we just stuck with the slowest person as the other Mom and I were interested in helping others out. Does anyone have any tips for running this club? I'm thinking the same morning each week probably us going out for a 1/2 hour. One Mom felt that we should meet up at Starbucks, etc for people to get to know each other. Though I don't necessarily feel that is a bad idea I am used to people just getting to know each other as they run together and some people may be interested in being social afterwards but others may be tight for time. Any ideas on how things should work? Or if you belong to a running group any suggestions for our group?
