weighed myself this morning and, for the first time in i don't know how long, I am under 150 lbs :cheerleader1:..i've lost 10 lbs!

i still have a ways to go (20 lbs away from pre-prego weight), and i am still mostly in maternity clothes (hmph!) but i definitely feel/notice a difference! I think I even feel happier in general...I feel less sluggish too and more energetic.

thanks for all suggestions for using MyFitnessPal, it has really helped!! I finally realized I deserve to be a little "selfish" and take time to do things for MY health/sanity. It makes me feel so much happier, and I enjoy my kids more. :)

That's awesome!! Can you share when you were able to work in exercise and what kind? I don't have weight to lose, but exercise would probably do a whole lot of good for me...

thanks everyone!

i have started doing some exercise but not much yet..i bought a set of 10 mat classes from a local Pilates place. The package expires at the end of the year so I guess that forces me to go at least once a week, which is good! :) So far I've been going to evening classes on weekdays like at 6:30pm..i eat an early dinner, then have DH take care of the kids while i'm gone. I've been going just once a week but i hope to get up to 2-3x a week. It's working out well so far. I have an elliptical machine in my room, but haven't used it yet :bag though i plan to soon.

I think the main thing that helped so far with the weight loss, is keeping track of everything I ate w/ the calorie counter..stuff really adds up! i've been making better/healthier food choices too, and taking the time to eat healthier stuff rather than just grabbing whatever was convenient (drive thru, etc) which was too easy to do being busy with the kids all day.
