Anyone remember my post a couple weeks back about either the stripped dresses or the Fair Isle dresses?

Well I apparently need to spend money on something new so I ordered these cute dresses from Zulily but they might not make it on time.

I was at Target of all places today and they had some cute stuff but when put together it's actually more expensive than the Zulily dresses.

I think it's cute but I worry about all the layering pieces in terms of messiness. More things to be out of place.

This might be a moot point of the zulily dresses don't come on time but if they do, what do you prefer?

#1: Zulily dresses
Pink tunic with leggings for DD#2 with black suede ankle booties
Drop waist dress for DD#1 with black patent leather boots

#2: Target Outfits

Grey cardigan, pink cami, black lace skirt, cream tights, black patent boots for DD1

Pink sweater with flowers on shoulder, grey bubble plaid skirt, pink tights, black patent mary janes

Also, what the heck do I do with their hair?

I seem to be in the minority but I think the Zulily ones are adorable. Here's hoping they get there in time! If they don't, you'll be able to use them for lots of other times, though. And the Target outfits are cute too.

I voted for the Target outfits. I actually think they do look a bit richer & classier because of the various pieces and lack of print (except on the one skirt). I'm just a fan of solids for pictures.
They're all cute outfits, though, and I'm jealous that you get to dress up two sweet little girls!

I voted Target, because I thought the polka dots might be a little much so close to the face in pictures KWIM? As far as outfits go...they are all cute. I just like the Target ones better for pix.

I like the Target outfits much better. But I also really like the Fair Isle and striped dresses. I like the Zulily outfits the least of the four -- but I really like all of the others!

I like the Fair Isle dresses too, but the reason I kind of veto'd them is because I feel like either DH or I need to wear cream so that it's 2 creams, 2 blacks and I don't like any of my cream tops and I don't think DH has any cream either. Silly, I know. But I've been looking and can't find anything cream I like...plus black is so much more slimming in a picture so I selfishly want to wear black.

Thanks for your votes. I realize the Target outfits looks lackluster next to the professional pictures from Zulily, so I'm glad you all saw through the professional picture vs camera phone quality.

I think when the girls see the picture in 10 years they will prefer seeing themselves in the Target outfits. They seem more like real clothes, the Zulilly is a little costume like.

I like the Zulilly ones better for church or brunch but I think solids generally look better in photos, plus the girls can re wear the tops and sweater from Target with jeans and such.

I like the grey in the Target outfits, although the Zulily ones are cute too so I was torn. I didn't' see the Fair Isle post but I'm loving that style lately, so probably would have chosen that instead.

I feel for you with the Zulily timing. I love their sales but every time I'm disappointed that it takes me a month+ to get what I ordered.

I like the Target ones better for professional pics. Less patterned, more classic.

I agree.
