Um, I went to Anthro to get the famous poncho and this kinda followed me home instead...

The yellow version.
I'm in love. It's great on my hourglass figure. I debated and debated, but it's exactly what I was looking for and it's the perfect weight for Chicago's fall wet weather. I was sad the Boden one from last season sold out, but I like the cut of this one even more. Given that it was the only one in my size left, and it was half price it came home with me.
I might have worn it today with some new wedge booties that somehow came in the mail this week as well ...

All in all a good week. Several compliments on many of the new goods that keep following me home and my efforts to shop my closet and think of wearing things in a new way.

Nice score-cute boots! And love the raincoat! Yellow is so cheery!
And ummm, I have a confession to make....:bag
I bought that raincoat this morning too. In red. :love5:
Yes, I know I already have a red trench coat...but this one is a real raincoat (I don't have a true raincoat) and it's a different style (shorter/bulkier). And it's completely waterproof. And has a butterfly lining! And I got several price adjustments on other items I had that went on double markdown (purple cape, three skirts, and the backroads cardi) plus returned some other items so that plus the nearly 50% off sale price means I didn't end up paying anything for it. Yay for free raincoats!
I almost got the yellow so it wouldn't be so similar to my trench, but the red looks so much better on me. And I couldn't resist the butterflies...

LOL. Love it! My anthro did not have the red - which is usually my go to color, but the yellow works on me and I also have a red fashion trench that ins't really water proof, which is why I was able to resist the pansy trench every time I admired it on you and others on this board. Ya'll are a really good or really bad influencce depending on how I look at it.
I love the linings in both versions - so fun and part of the design.

I saw this post last night and fell in love with this coat. I have been searching for a cool raincoat for 2 years! Trotted down to my Anthro store and just got the last one in red! I love it, but did think the yellow was also super cute. While in line, someone was purchasing the famous Arivecchi cape :) !
Alexsmom, are you the one that went to Napa ? You should post an update!
And oh yeah, I bought the coat despite being over 2 months pg!

Haha! No I did not, but I did want to add that when I was at the register, I advised the cashier I had not received my birthday discount card (perhaps due to recent move) and she gave me a 15% discount on top of the sale price. SCORE :D
