What should I wear with this dress

I just picked up this dress at Hanna Andersson and I am clueless lately with clothes. I was wondering how you would accessorize this dress. I have brown riding boots I planned to wear with it, what else should I wear? Thanks so much.

I have a belt that looks like the first one (leather and elastic) I will try that
I have a cardigan that looks a lot like this but in a marled brown/tan would it be too much ruffles?
Also would you recomend a necklace or would that be too much with the ruffles on the dress?

I think dress ruffles + the cardigan ruffles= too many ruffles. 1 set/ ensemble is probably a good rule but I am known to be boring. :) Let me think on the necklace.
