Problems unfolding the Bee + in parent facing mode?

Anyone experience difficulty unfolding the bee when the seat is parent facing? I find it awkward to press my foot down on the bar. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal?

Its not you. It can be awkward to unfold it but I have gotten better at it. I also have heard if you lock the brake before folding its a tad easier.
