I am looking for a good deal on quality boxes with fast shipping.

Yes I know it would be cheapest to get some off freecycle or craigs list but I don't really have time for that. I am moving rather quickly and need to get started packing asap.

Thanks.

I haven't priced these since I moved 7 1/2 years ago but at the time Costco was the best deal. I'm sure they are still a pretty good deal.

we are moving too! I've used usedcardboardboxes.com and was happy. Although not sure if they are the cheapest.

Not online, but Home Depot has a very good prices on sturdy moving boxes. When we moved last spring they had them on sale and they priced out at about 1/2 the cost of other boxes we found.

I just searched the BBB and other places online, and was SHOCKED that HD had the best prices and reviews. Better than U-Line, better than Sams, Costco, Walmart, U-Haul...

The BBB just saved me a ton of money.

I have been packing for two months and have gotten a TON of boxes from two local friends (one owns a pharmacy and the other owns a medical supply company, so I get about 10-ish+ good boxes per week from each), but they couldn't keep up with our need, and I found myself forced to scavenge or buy. I am SHOCKED about the number of boxes I have packed. 40% of my stuff is being donated or sold, and still there is SO.MUCH.CRAP.

HD is great because I can survey a room and decide I need 2 large boxes, 8 medium, and 6 small, order online, and go pick them up in an hour or so (CHEAPLY). I won't have any waste or extra boxes when I am done.

Amazon, especially if you have Prime and do not need to pay tax.

I second Home Depot! Their boxes are priced GREAT, and it's so nice to be able to run there and pick up 5 more boxes here or 5 more boxes there in-store as needed. Plus packing tape and bubble wrap:) The small are great for books, heavy items. The mediums are great for almost anything else. The large are great for bulky items. For our move we used mostly medium boxes. And it makes it easier for the movers when all your boxes are the same sizes - for stacking onto the dolly.

I just moved and HD was the best. So convenient. I couldn't believe it either.

Yikes. I LOVE Amazon, but their box prices are crazy high.

A large moving box (18x18x24) is $1.36 at HD.

The same size is $39.33 for 6 on Amazon ($6.56 PER BOX. OUCH).

HD has medium boxes (18x18x16) for $1.12 each. The same size boxes sell for $4.80 each on Amazon (sold in bundles only).

Small boxes (16x12x12) are 69 cents at HD

Vs. $2.80 each on Amazon.

Unless you absolutely must buy boxes online, it is so much cheaper to go pick them up. So far I have spent around $50 on moving boxes, I would have spent $200-$300 if I bought online. OUCH!

As an o/s, a pp mentioned getting bubble wrap and packing tape at HD. Both are quite a bit cheaper at Sam's if you have one nearby.

Sam's Club is on my husband's way home from work, so I have him stop in when I run out.

Otherwise I would buy everything from HD simply because it's so very convenient.
