View Full Version : Stroller liner for Swift

Swifty has arrived, and I am in love! I'm sorry MB for ever doubting you. I also filled the tires easily with our foot pump. The valve is angled, and it's easy.

Now to add some pizazz. I just spent three hours (yes, 3 hours!) trying to make a stroller liner. It was a disaster. I just learned how to use a sewing machine. First I cut the fabric the wrong size. Then I had the wrong size of bias tape but decided to use it anyway. Disaster.

So... what type of ready-made stroller liner will fit the Swift? Will Maclaren liners fit (in terms of size and strap placement)? Any others?

Wow, it came already? You gotta love Diapers! What color did you get? MB has liners (lambswool, or fleece in red, navy, or moss). The Mac liners should fit, they fit fine on Terry.

Itzy Ritzy and Tivoli both make universal liners, but they're pricier than the Macs.

Diapers is so fast! I went with Flint. Boring but neutral. Now it's time to liven it up. I'll go check out the links you posted.

I've never had a liner - how do I get the straps through strap holes? I'm feeling so burned out by my stroller liner sewing saga right now that my brain is fried. Do I just have to unthread the straps on the Swift then put them through the liner and re-thread?

Yes, it's pretty simple. I just detach the chest harness to thread them, and then the lap harnesses through the liner slots. I slide the harness pads off, makes it easier to fit. The crotch buckle should slide through it's slot, even with the padding on.

I'm hoping for a liner that doesn't hang down off the seat of the Swift. It looks like the universal liners I'm looking at will do that. Does anyone have a pic of a Swift with a liner?

Elektra has a Maclaren liner on her swift.

I am so glad you like swifty! It's the perfect one and only IMO.
