I have been eyeing the different fashion threads for awhile and I got that BBB fave Anthro cape in green (my eyes are green) this last weekend. Inspired by the cute narrow skirt and boot look so many ladies posted with it I pulled out a black skirt and my old boots and the poncho and wore them to work today.
I have never had so many people stop me and tell me that I look fantastic.
The boots are actually my old, old 20 eyelet steel toed Grinders that I wore in high school and college because I have not gotten around to boot shopping (I have massive muscular calves that make it hard to find boots). They were in the back of my closet till I pulled them out for Halloween. They totally take me back to a different time. I actually wore these boots with my wedding dress. Nostalgic and warm feeling.
