I bought a roast that was too large for my crock pot and decided to take some out w/some of the additional liquid and cook it on the stove top. How long do you think it will need to cook/simmer on the stovetop before it is tender enough to shred? My crock pot recipe calls for 4-5 hours on high and I'm not sure what that translates to on the stove. Thanks!
